Episode 16: Marianas Trench

The four piece from Vancouver has been creating pop classics for nearly two decades, experimenting with theme albums, arrangements and instruments they have reached the top of the canadian music mountain. However America has eluded them... for now. They have been climbing in their success with each passing album. Today we go through their five albums and Josh's producing and writing career.

Our first female artist! in the rise of female talent Amanda stood head and shoulders above them all, her powerful voice, personal and socially conscious songs  were a breath of fresh air following the heavy guitar driven grunge scene. The boys dive deep into her career and what could have happened why she never cracked the states in spite of some modest success in Europe

The boys both watched the interesting documentary about the chaos that was the Woodstock 99 music festival. They talk about the doc, their memories watching the festival on television and how they would have fixed it.
