Starting as a writer on shows like Rosanne, moving onto Saturday night Live where he helmed the weekend update desk. Quoted by Chevy Chase as the best anchor since him. Norm had a ruthless, uncompromising wit, a fearless approach, and was respected by his peers and the up and coming generations of comedians.
